Surprise guests of the PUMA Suede 50th anniversary celebration by integratIng PUMA’s collaboration with M·A·C Cosmetics into the dining experience.
Given the nature of the event, many of the guests were fashion industry influencers who were sure to be posting photos and content to their followers throughout the evening. But by creating an experience that leveraged their considerable social activity, guests could be treated to a custom image that was integral to the evening and instantly shareable.
The experience was built using a custom web app and algorithm that scanned through each user’s Instagram feed to analyze color profiles and then matched each result to one of the three custom PUMA x MAC colorways. The use of QR codes alongside the clean and intuitive UX and visual design reflected the elegance of the PUMA x MAC collaboration.
After the analysis was complete, the HueFinder treated guests to an unexpected surprise by revealing “which hue is for you” and even recommended corresponding cocktails – making the collab itself a feature on the menu and getting the evening off to a stylish start.
